Ingredients for Tilapia Recipe:
- Tilapia fish 250 grams
- Green Chili 3-4 nos
- Salt as per taste
- Garlic & Ginger paste ½ tsp
- Poppy seed paste 2 tsp
- Onion paste ½ cup
- Tomato paste ½ cup
- Mustard seed paste ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Mustard oil ½ cup
- Black cumin & whole Cumin 1 tsp
How to cook Tilapia Fish?
- I have taken Tilapia Fish 250 grams. After clean & wash fry the Tilapia with turmeric powder and salt in mustard oil, make it brown.
- Heat the pan and add 2 spoons of mustard oil.
- Now add Black cumin & whole Cumin seeds, stir it gently.
- When you will get the nice smell add onion paste. Fry until onion get a brownish color, otherwise raw smell will come.
- Now add Garlic & Ginger paste, Poppy seed paste, Turmeric powder, chili powder, Mustard seed paste and add some water. Mix all the spices well. Stir it for few minutes make it little brown.
- Now add tomato paste and salt as per your taste. Again mix it properly. Stir it for 1 minute.
- Add one cup water for the gravy. After few minutes add the Tilapia Fish one by one in the gravy.
- Add sliced green chili and 1 tsp mustard oil.
- Cover it and keep it for 1 minute in a low flame.
- Open the cover and toss the fish other side.
- Again cover it for another 1 minute.
- Now it is ready Tilapia fish curry recipe.
This preparation goes well with hot any type of rice.
